The first into the world of fenders, the MarshGuard was originally developed by Jason Marsh (Greg Minaar's mechanic) to help deal with the rough and wet track terms frequently seen on the World Cup circuit. Recently, the original fender went through a redesign to become The MarshGuard Plus Fork Fender, and it has a lot going for it. The MarshGuard Plus now offers better coverage for all wheel sizes and a slightly larger footprint (at 1/2" longer than before). The eyelets have also been slightly adjusted to Mount the fender in a better location.
MarshGuards are highly effective at shielding both the rider and the bike from mud and debris. Backed up by a World Championship and known as the go-to race fender on the UCI circuit.
Made out of tough, flexible, recycled, and recyclable plastic, the MarshGuard Plus is lightweight, race tough, and looks the business. Installation is fast and easy, and the MarshGuard fits BOS, Rock Shox, Marzocchi, and Fox forks flawlessly. Some riders have had success adapting the MarshGuard to rear wheel use as well.
